I am 35 weeks pregnant this week. 35 WEEKS! How is it already almost time to meet our baby? Whoever said the last part of pregnancy goes by slowly, I’m calling BS. Because it sure doesn’t feel that way. Even though these last few weeks my whole pregnancy has seemed to go by rather quickly, my body is starting to feel the extra weight, & Lucas cramming himself in my rib cage doesn’t make getting comfy any easier. I’m sure he’s super comfortable all snuggled up in there though. Mentally, time is flying by. Physically, my body aches most of the time & I don’t sleep more than a couple hours at a time. I guess my body is naturally preparing me for life when Lucas makes his arrival. Really though, I can’t complain much. I feel very fortunate to have had such a smooth sailing pregnancy – minus the car accident. Very few bumps in the road, besides my huge baby bump 😉

FAVORITE MOMENT || BRANDON HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET LUCAS TO KICK HIM IN THE FACE, AND HE FINALLY DID IT. BRANDON HAD HIS HEAD ON MY BELLY, AND LUCAS KICKED HIM IN THE FACE. BRANDON WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT IT & IT WAS SUCH A SWEET MOMENT. I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE MORE MOMENTS LIKE THAT WITH MY LITTLE FAMILY.

THIS PACK & PLAY THAT WE ORDERED FROM BABIES R US. I REALLY LIKE THE “CATALINA ICE’ PRINT. WE ALSO HAVE THE STROLLER, HIGH CHAIR, & A BOUNCER IN THE SAME PRINT. HOPEFULLY LUCAS LIKES IT AS MUCH AS I DO!
FAVORITE DRINK || FROZEN VANILLA LATTE. WE HAVE A LITTLE BAGEL SHOP HERE IN TOWN, AND THIS WEEK I TRIED A FROZEN VANILLA LATTE FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND I DON’T KNOW WHY I’VE NEVER HAD ONE BEFORE! DELICIOUS. I SEE A LOT OF THESE HAPPENING IN MY FUTURE, ESPECIALLY WHEN LUCAS GETS HERE & I NEED LOTS OF COFFEE TO STAY AWAKE.

35 weeks down, 5 to go! Lucas will be here before we know it. Last night I really thought about it, and as eager as I am for Lucas to be here, Brandon & I only have 5 weeks left of it just being us two. After that, it will always be us three, four, five…okay I’m getting ahead of myself, but you get the point. So as excited and antsy as I am for us to be “us three” I want to soak up every minute of just us two for the next 5 weeks.
