It’s April Fools’ Day, but this is no joke: one month from today is Lucas’ due date! I’m attempting to wrap my head around that at the moment. On one hand, I am so ready for him to be here & meet him & hold him & probs never let anyone else hold him, ever. Just kidding π On the other hand, knowing that he could possibly come at anytime over the next month is making me pretty nervous. The whole labor/delivery thing is just a little scary, and it’s just getting closer & closer! Sometimes I think I’m ready for it, then other times I like to freak myself out about it. Thank God for Brandon. He always knows the right things to say & do when I’m all in my head worrying about labor. I know everything will go how it’s supposed to go, and we will have a perfect baby boy after & whatever pain/worrying I go through will all be worth it!
I spent the day with my mom, mostly shopping. We picked up my wedding dress from the bridal boutique, & it’s perfect!!! Back in September, I ended up getting the second dress I tried on, and as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. I can’t wait to share it, because it is gorgeous! But that’ll have to wait until October π We also went shopping for her mother of the bride dress, which is turning out to be a little harder than picking out my wedding dress!
We stopped at Motherhood Maternity too, so I could buy some clothes that actually fit me for the last month of my pregnancy since my bump is getting out of control. They’re having a really good sale right now | all skirts & dresses BOGO 50% off & all shirts are buy 3, get 1 free. I got some really cute, comfy skirts & dresses and some cute shirts too. All really great for spring/summer, since it is already getting sweltering hot outside most days.
Brandon & I had a date night to celebrate one month from Lucas’ due date. We went to BJ’s Brewhouse for dinner, and it was delicious! I got their limeade mocktail, which had pomegranate syrup, limes, & sierra mist in it. It was pretty tasty, but I am pretty excited for us to go back there on a date night when I can actually drink alcohol & try their white peach margarita. We had the chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer, which were okay but in my opinion have nothing on P.F. Chang’s. Their pizza, however, SO GOOD! We split the small, not mini, chicken bacon ranch pizza & ended up having leftovers. Definitely enough for the two of us. It was really delicious though! For dessert, we got the cookies & cream pizookie, which is a big, warm skillet cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. This one had a little bit of Oreo “mousse” on top, which tasted like the filling of an Oreo & I wish I could have just gotten a big plate of that. I would probably get this for dessert every day if I could.

Hope everyone had a great April 1st as well. π
