Working out…with a baby.

So, here I am 8 1/2 months after having our baby boy, and I have not stepped foot in a gym since. NOT OKAY. Well, I guess technically I don’t have to go to the gym to exercise, but you get the point.

Thankfully I got back in to tennis, and Lucas has become a very active little boy, so basically my exercise routine consists of tennis (maybe) once a week and chasing after my almost 9 month old. Not enough to lose those last 10 lbs. of baby weight unfortunately. Plus my body hurts because I don’t stretch, warm up, etc. etc. but when do I have time to work out?! I don’t really. That shouldn’t be an excuse. I need to make the time.

New year: new plan. A new year is always motivation in itself to get it together and get organized. So that is my plan. Take 20 minutes to take a jog around the block with Lucas or do some yoga while he takes a nap. Also eat healthy, which is always the plan but doesn’t quite work out because I’m obsessed with sweets. Any moms out there trying to lose that last bit of baby weight have any tips on how to manage your time better to fit in some work outs here and there? Any advice is helpful!
