How far along: 36 weeks
Favorite moment this week: How excited Lucas is for his little brother to be here. He’s started saying that Logan is his best friend and he’s going to give him hugs & kisses. Seriously the CUTEST & melts my heart every time! Also enjoying how much I get to feel Logan move around in my belly right now because I know soon enough he’ll be here & I’ll miss feeling those kicks from the inside.
Feeling: AW. FUL. Y’all, I have been so sick this past week. I’ve had a sinus infection for what seems like ever, and the other day ended up with a fever and chills. Not fun. That on top of just all of the aches and pains that come along with the last month of pregnancy, I’ve just been having a lot of trouble lately & feel so guilty for not being able to do a lot of fun things with Lucas. #momguilt
Maternity clothes: I wore this dress to my 36 week doctor appointment yesterday, and it is so comfy! One of the only things that fits the bump right now. It’s super versatile, and I think it will be easy to throw on and look somewhat put together after baby is here.
Cravings: Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Brandon got me ginger ale the other day when I was having a bad case of acid reflux, and I’ve almost drank the whole bottle, even after my acid reflux was gone. I’m not a ginger ale drinker, so I’m definitely chalking it up to a pregnancy craving.
Movement: Still all day, every day. Most of the time you can see him moving just looking at my belly. This kid never stops. I have a feeling we’re going to have a very active little boy on our hands! Actually, TWO very active little boys because Lucas never stops either. Send all the coffee!
I ordered some Red Raspberry Leaf Tea the other day on Amazon that I saw on Lynzy & Co.’s blog. It’s supposed to help your body naturally prepare for labor, so I’m hoping it helps!
We had our 36 week doctor appointment yesterday. I can’t believe we’re already at the point where we have an appointment every week now! Logan is going to be here so soon. I’m already 1cm dilated & 60% effaced, which has happened much earlier than when I was pregnant with Lucas, so I’m thinking (and hoping) that Logan will be here anytime after next week! We’re about to have two kids! I’m about to be the mom of two little boys. Is this real life? So thankful & excited to meet our little man.
